The purpose of innovation vouchers, aid for businesses:
• the modernization of existing biogas stations producing electricity from
biogas and the transformation of existing biogas stations producing
electricity from biogas into facilities producing biomethane (biomethane
stations)
• the maximum aid intensity is 45 %

Eligible territory:
All regions of the Slovak Republic

Eligible applicants:
A NATURAL or LEGAL person who, on the date of submission of the application,
operates a biogas stations producing electricity, which is the subject of the
project implementation.

Project permissions:
The following types of projects are eligible for the purposes of this call:
A. Projects, the subject of which are investment expenses for the modernization
of existing biogas stations producing electricity or
B. Projects, the subject of which are investment expenses for the transformation
of existing biogas stations producing electricity into biomethane producing
facilities (biomethane stations).

The result of the project implementation must be:
- in the case of type A projects: - technological evaluation of the biogas
station consisting mainly of a demonstrable increase in overall efficiency,
a reduction in own energy consumption or a reduction in losses and costs
of electricity production, which the electricity producer will demonstrate in
an energy audit report and at the same time
- installed power at least at the level of 95% of the installed power before
modernization and at the same time
- extension of the service life of the modernized biogas station.
- in the case of type B projects: - a biomethane production facility created
by the transformation of a biogas station.
The applicant quantifies the requiered results of project implementation through
the following measurable indicators:
- in the case of type A projects: - Modernized installed power in MW21
- in the case of type B projects: - Transformed installed power in MW22

Eligible expenses:
The maximum amount of funds of the mechanism for:
• Project type A - 1 million EUR.
• Project type B - 1.5 million EUR.
For the purposes of this call, eligible expenses are considered to be investment
expenses necessary for:,
- modernization of an existing biogas station producing electricity (type A
projects) or
- - transformation of an existing biogas station producing electricity into a
biomethane producing facility (type B projects).

Indicative call allocation:
Allocation amount 26 331 000 EUR of which:
- 9 331 000 EUR is intended for the modernization of existing biogas stations
producing electricity (type A projects)
- 17 000 000 EUR is intended for the transformation of biogas stations into
devices producing biomethane (type B projects)
