From 17 December 2021, the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic again launched the subsidies for payment of lease. Operations that were compulsorily closed or restricted during the third wave of the pandemic have the opportunity to obtain a subsidy for payment of lease.

The conditions for granting and paying the rent subsidy for the period of the third wave of the pandemic have remained unchanged, and tenants can submit electronic applications through landlords until 28 February 2022.

The Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic will pay a subsidy in the amount in which the rent discount was provided on the basis of an agreement between the landlord and the tenant, but not more than 50% of the rent for the period of difficult use.
