Tip of the week: The end of the possibility of postponing premiums!
8. 9. 2020
The situation associated with the COVID-19 pandemic has brought many measures, which are aimed at entrepreneurs, employers or employees. One of the changes is the postponement of the payment of social insurance premiums.
However, the Social Insurance Agency on its website warns self-employed persons, other self-employed persons as well as employers that an exception can no longer be applied in connection with the corona crisis - the postponement of premiums for August 2020 as it could have been done in previous months.
It means that it is obligatory to pay social insurance contributions by 8 September 2020.
The possibility to defer the payment of insurance premiums was only possible for the months of March, May, June and July 2020. The insurance premiums for these months must be paid no later than 31 December 2020, with no interest on arrears.
