VGD Slovakia has three new partners

The management of VGD Slovakia has been strengthened by three new partners since January 2022. It is a big milestone, which shows the potential for growth and contributes to a long-term vision of the company - to be one of the leaders among consulting companies in Slovakia.
"Less than a year ago, we presented the internal project Road to partnership, which describes the growth opportunities within the company and steps how each employee can work their way up to a partner position," explains Bart Waterloos managing partner of VGD Slovakia. "I started as an assistant auditor and gradually moved to a managing partner. Therefore, I am glad that we can promote other colleagues in this way and motivate others that such a successful career path in our company is possible."

Ján Bocko, Vladimír Mochnaľ and Tomáš Šalko became new partners.

The addition of three new partners to the four existing ones is an impulse for further growth and development of the company. "I am convinced that new partners are bringing the experience, motivation and determination to do things in the best possible way. This is a great benefit to the company's management. I look forward to intensive cooperation, "concluded Bart Waterloos. In addition to him, the current partners are Marián Škorník, Erik Marek and Branislav Kováč.

Ján Bocko

Ján has been working at VGD for 13 years, currently at the position of Business Advisory Manager. He has extensive experience in due diligence, transaction consulting, financial analysis and valuation, as well as accounting and auditing.
At VGD, he will be primarily responsible for the development of transaction advisory services and, as a new partner, wants to elevate this area to one of the pillars of the services provided.
Ján excels with his focus on the client's result and goals and a structured approach to solving complex tasks.

Vladimír Mochnaľ

Vladimír joined VGD as a junior accountant almost immediately after graduating from university, later he moved to the audit department, where he worked his way up from the position of assistant auditor to the department manager, where he currently leads a team of 20 auditors. Vlado is a licensed statutory auditor and is also active at the Auditing Oversight Authority. He joins the partnership at the company with the audit area and at the same time his role will be to develop a new business line - VGD Subsidies, which contributes to the complexity of the portfolio. His high expertise, flexibility, enthusiasm for new challenges and ability to lead his team transparently and sensitively drive him forward.

Tomáš Šalko

Tomáš has very interesting career path. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a certified internal auditor. As a graduate of the University of Economics, he first devoted himself to internal audit, process improvement and finding savings for a global manufacturing company for 10 years.
After joining VGD, he began to focus more on the topic of digital transformation and gradually took over responsibility for the IT department and digitalization projects. Under his leadership, the IT team has acquired a unique combination of business process and IT knowledge, and since last year has begun providing these services to clients as part of the new VGD Digital business line. Tomáš enjoys discovering new approaches and tools for digitalization to improve work and processes. He believes that digitalization is becoming more and more accessible for small and medium-sized companies and is looking forward to many successful projects that he, as a partner, plans to implement with VGD clients.
