The upcoming amendment to the Labor Code is postponed to 1 October 2022
The effectiveness of the upcoming amendment to the Labor Code is being postponed from August 1 to October 1, 2022.
Therefore, the planned changes will be relevant in the fall, and we will publish everything important in September.
Most of the changes concern the incorporation of EU directives. There are a total of 11 changes, among them, for example:
- supplementing the essential details of the employment contract,
- expanding the scope of information that the employee should receive in order to ensure the requirement of transparency and predictability of the work performed,
- the introduction of a new employer's information obligation regarding working conditions and terms of employment,
- addition of provisions regarding the balance between parents' work and private life (e.g. the right of employees to request a change to another form of employment, introduction of protection for fathers during paternity leave).
