Restriction of movement during the second round of COVID-19 testing
Over the weekend (7th and 8th November), the second round of surface testing awaits us. Unlike the first round, not whole Slovakia participate in it, but only districts where more than 0.7% were positive in the first round. Based on these percentages, the country is divided into so-called "red and green districts". You can find a list of red districts on the website of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic by clicking on this link.
In the districts where the second round of testing will take place, an up-to-date test, whether PCR or antigen, will be required between 6th and 8th November. In other territorial districts, the current test from the testing held from 29 October to 1 November is sufficient.
Anyone who wants to move in the red districts after 08.11.2020 which will be subject to the second round of nationwide testing, must have an up-to-date test for COVID-19. This means that if someone needs to go from a district where a second round of testing is not ordered to the place where the second round of testing has been ordered from 9 November 2020, they must have a certificate that they have passed an antigen test or a certificate of PCR test performed from 6 to 8 November.
At the same time, based on the decision of the Government of the Slovak Republic of 4 November 2020, the curfew is extended until 14 November 2020.
The curfew does not apply in the period from 1.00 am to 5.00 am. Restriction of movement does not control persons with a negative PCR test or a COVID-19 antigen test performed in a comprehensive test.
